Vintage ca. 1940s - 1950s shirtwaist dress was hand-sewn by someone using the most gorgeous 1940s rayon fabric, cool and silky to the touch, in chestnut and tawny hues with touches of aqua, violet, and plum forming a romantic baroque rose print. Closes with darling old domed \"shadowbox\" style floral buttons, and features a scalloped neckline and hip pockets. Note: the dress form doesn\'t do this beauty justice, as clipping garment to simulate fit constrains its proportions -- needs a real figure to rock it properly.
